FiNAO was engaged by Lend Lease Solar to provide a digital solution to assist in tracking workers who were in potentially hazardous situations (ie. assessing roof spaces for the fitting of solar panels) through the use of SMS technology.
FiNAO designed and developed an SMS system whereby the workers sends the word 'in' and the address to a dedicated number and responds 'out' when they leave. Through the backend interface the manager can see that the worker has entered, and safely left, the potentially hazardous work place. If the worker does not respond to the initial 'in' message within a predetermined timeframe then an emergency escalation procedure is initiated.
